AWARDS
World Level Awards
The World Council shall, where appropriate, make awards to both Youth and Adult members for brave and commendable actions.
These awards are:
1- The Scout Medal of Honour:- For special heroism and extraordinary risk, The Scout Medal of Honour is awarded. This Award is a silver coloured cross suspended from a green and silver ribbon.
2- The Bronze Lion:-This award is granted for exceptional service to youth on an international, or worldwide basis. This Award has a green and gold ribbon.
3- The Service Cross:- This award is given for good service to Independent Scouting Movement. The Service Cross. This Award is a bronze cross with a white and red ribbon.
4-Thanks Badges:- In recognition of help to the WFIS, the Thanks Badges can be awarded to members and non-members.
REGIONAL/ASIA LEVEL AWARDS
AREAS
Asia Regional Council of World Federation of Independent Scouts is planning to honor those scouters, guiders and other persons who made their extraordinary contribution in the following areas-
-Human Rights
This award is granted for extraordinary contribution in the field of Human Rights Protection. Individuals and NGO/VO both are eligible for consideration to this award.
-Environment
This award is given for extraordinary contribution in the field of protection of environment. Under the category of this award, individuals, groups of individuals and non-governmental organizations are considered as prospect awardee.
